A Scholarship to Support Young Musicians
Providing opportunity for aspiring musicians is an essential part of the Cambridge Jazz Festival’s mission. We’re pursuing this mission through a scholarship fund in the name of the late local legend Jonny Hodges, who played in Duke Ellington’s Big Band and is regarded as one of the most accomplished saxophone players in the history of jazz. While all proceeds from the CJF in excess of costs go to the Johnny Hodges Fund, your direct contribution will provide further support for young musicians in Cambridge.
The Cambridge Jazz Festival is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by Internal Revenue tax code.
