Brenda Ann Henry- Brown To Co-Host at The Cambridge Jazz Festival

Organizers have announced that Brenda Ann Henry-Brown will be joining the host of Boston radio’s best known jazz program “Eric in the Evening,” in introducing artists and other emcee duties at the Cambridge Jazz Festival.

An ordained reverend and an assistant pastor at the Massachusetts Avenue Baptist Church (MABC) in Cambridge and powerful speaker known for “bringing the house down,” Reverend Henry-Brown is also the Executive Director of the Project Manna Program at MABC where hot meals are provided weekly to the homeless and the Food Pantry. She has chaired the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Scholarship Committee and served as co-chair for the Patient and Family Advisory Council at Dana-Faber/Brigham and Women’s Hospital where she received an award for her dedication and service.

“She knows Cambridge,” said Festival executive director Larry Ward, “and Cambridge knows her! And anyone who knows jazz knows Eric Jackson. We’re counting on them to introduce our wonderful artists to passionate jazz fans as well as to a new audience who might not know much about jazz—and they’ll get them fired up about what they’re going to hear.”
