Forest City Boston To Play Major Role In Bringing Jazz Festival To Cambridge

The Cambridge Jazz Festival announced that Forest City Boston has generously agreed to provide initial funding and critical in-kind services for the Cambridge Jazz Festival. “We are thrilled to be collaborating with Forest City on bringing the Festival to our city,” said Larry Ward, the Festival’s Executive Director. “With their support, we’ll be able to create an exciting—and comfortable—venue for people to see and hear these great jazz artists.”

The company will work with the Festival’s organizing committee and the city of Cambridge to provide a unique outdoor venue on Sidney Street with a stage, food and beverage areas and other activities on site. Forest City has also made an initial gift of $5,000, becoming the first lead sponsor for the event.

Ward added, “Opportunities like this are important to the life of the city and help bring people together. Free, world-class, and fun—this is exactly the kind of experience that demonstrates what makes Cambridge unique.”
