The Cambridge Jazz Festival presents Jazz Trumpeter, Sean Jones. This special concert will be a unique opportunity to hear trumpet virtuoso and Mack Avenue recording artist Sean Jones performing locally before he takes his star turn as one of the headliners at the Newport Jazz Festival.

Taking place in the acoustically excellent sanctuary of the Abundant Life Church (located at 47 Howard St., Cambridge, MA 02139), proceeds from this concert will help keep the 2017 4th Annual Cambridge Jazz Festival FREE to the public. Please join us for an evening of memorable music on Sunday, February 19th at 6pm and show your support for jazz in Cambridge. THE CAMBRIDGE JAZZ FESTIVAL CELEBRATES BLACK HISTORY MONTH featuring GABRIELLE GOODMAN and WALTER BEASLEY paying tribute to Johnny Hodges.

This special concert will be a unique opportunity to hear the styles of two exceptional jazz performers. Renowned vocalist Gabrielle Goodman and acclaimed saxophonist and vocalist Walter Beasley will pay tribute to Johnny Hodges, a Cambridge native famously known for his work as a solo saxophonist in Duke Ellington's Big Band.

Taking place in the acoustically excellent sanctuary of the Abundant Life Church (located at 47 Howard St., Cambridge, MA 02139), proceeds from this concert will help keep the 2017 4th Annual Cambridge Jazz Festival FREE to the public.

Spring Fundraiser, ft. "The Art of the Piano"

This Special Fundraising Concert is happening in Cambridge in the acoustically excellent sanctuary of The Abundant Life Church.  Please join us for an evening of memorable music and show your support for jazz in Cambridge. It will be a unique opportunity to hear the styles of three outstanding pianists: the established mastery of George W. Russell Jr.; the cutting-edge harmonies of Laszlo Gardony; and the fresh, hot sounds of Yoko Miwa ... all in one place at one time, backed up by the solid rhythm section of Ron Mahdi (bass) and Ron Savage (drums). All proceeds will go towards helping the Cambridge Jazz Festival meet financial obligations that will allow this summer’s Third Annual Cambridge Jazz Festival continue to be FREE to the public.
